When it comes to the Fox cartoon
Family Guy, reviewers note they're
"so happy to know this family without being a part of it." Admittedly, the humor isn't for everyone, comparing it to what you would see and hear in
South Park and
The Simpsons. Fans of the show find
"every episode is hilarious" with decent plots and likable characters. "
Family Guy follows the crazy lives of small town America in their oddball schemes and their hair-brained ideas." Some that were fans of
Family Guy in its earlier years have fallen out of favor with it, complaining "it's gone downhill and is now more based on silly or sick or just plain mean and/or stupid jokes." A few reviewers have never liked
Family Guy, calling it "just 30 minutes of trash."
